The Chapman Ranch is located approximately 12 miles north of Ft. Stockton on Hwy. 18. The ranch is surrounded by large land holders and is a good hunting property for mule deer, quail and dove. The Diamond Y spring located on the property is controlled by the Nature Conservancy, but when the spring is flowing the water covers approximately 89 acres of the ranch providing a green marshy grass land. The ranch offers great elevation with hills of limestone and a high mesa which provides outstanding views from every direction. There are 2 solar water wells and property is cross fenced into 4 pastures and each pasture has its own water. There is electricity and a set of pens and corrals near the highway. There have been many Indian artifacts found on the ranch in the past.
